OPEN Acrylics are colours for professional artists designed with a unique set of working properties that represent a true departure from all other acrylics on the market and dramatically expand the range of techniques that are available to artists. OPEN Acrylic Colours are formulated with an optimum balance of pigment load and 100% acrylic polymer dispersion to produce a paint with a uniquely relaxed set of working characteristics and a versatility that allows artists to explore a wider range of techniques such as portraiture and landscape painting that rely on softening, shading, glazing, and creating fine detail. OPEN Acrylics are a slow-drying paint with a slightly softer consistency than our Heavy Body paints. The increased working time of these colours expands their range to include more traditional techniques once only possible with oils. 

Because OPEN Acrylics dry slowly, painters who cover their palettes or use sealed containers have been able to use the same colours for weeks, reducing the amount of paint wasted and preserving colour mixtures for future use.

Our preferred logistics supplier is Australia Post. Occasionally the weight or dimensions of your parcel exceed the restrictions applied by Australia Post. Our preferred logistics provider then is Toll. Depending on the contents of the parcels varying surcharges may apply to the shipping applied to your order. For example Dangerous Goods classified products or products over 1.5 metres in length will incur a minimum surcharge of $60.

Paper is a fragile product, and our goal is to ensure it arrives to you safely. Extra packing will be used to ship it safely and although we do not charge for this, there may be an increase in logistics charges. We recommend that you consider purchasing a minimum of 5 sheets or pack quantities to both save on purchase price and shipping charges.
