PRIMAcryl Professional is a premium artist acrylic colour that offers a modern and extensive range and was extensively revised in 2025.

The binder used in PRIMAcryl Professional is produced in a sustainable process: It is not extracted from mineral oil, but produced almost entirely from ‘end-of-use’ plastics (e.g. old car tyres) or plant remains. Compared to the classic ‘petroleum process’, only a minimal amount of CO2 is released. Invented in 1935, Chlorinated Copper is one of the first synthetic organic pigments to be accepted as reliably permanent. It is sometimes seen as a modern replacement for Prussian Blue, but its unmixed colour is slightly more cyan, and in hues, it exhibits a unique range of throbbing, intense, greenish blues that are quite distinct from Prussian Blue. Having one of the highest tint powers in my range, this paint will blow any mix apart; if you wish to avoid doing so, add it incrementally and with caution! Its metallic content means that like Prussian Blue, it shows a tendency to bronze upon drying.

In accordance with proven traditional methods of production, all Art Spectrum Artists’ Watercolours are carefully stone milled to enhance the individual brilliance of each carefully selected pigment, and to maximise its handling qualities. Art Spectrum watercolours have the distinct advantage of being composed only of lightfast pigments - for instance, Alizarin Crimson is not offered in our range because it is known to be fugitive. CLICK AND COLLECT SHIPPING OPTION
Click and Collect is selectable as a shipping option and as no shipping charges are incurred by Parkers Sydney Fine Art Supplies, no charge is applied at checkout.
The Click and Collect option, as a free shipping option, is conditional upon the customer collecting the order directly from The Rocks store – 3 Cambridge Street – The Rocks – NSW – 2000, during standard business hours, once the customer has been advised the order is ready and compiled for collection.
If this option is selected as part of the checkout process and the customer cannot collect the order in person, the customer agrees that arrangements will be made for a paid shipping option to be applied to the order and paid, prior to the order being shipped.
Click and Collect orders must be collected by the purchaser of the order with proof identity provided at the time of collection. This is to avoid fraudulent online transactions.
PACKING OF FRAGILE ITEMS
Paper is a fragile product, and our goal is to ensure it arrives to you safely. Extra packing will be used to ship it safely and although we do not charge for this, there may be an increase in logistics charges. We recommend that you consider purchasing a minimum of 5 sheets or pack quantities to both save on purchase price and shipping charges.
We aim to ensure you receive your art supplies in good condition.
ORDER FULFILLMENT
Orders that include all in stock items, that are received prior to 1pm (Monday to Friday), will generally be processed and shipped the same day. At the time of shipping you will receive a confirmation of your order having been sent and a tracking link so you can check estimated delivery times and the status of your delivery at all times.
FULFILLMENT OF BACK ORDERS
Products may display as in stock online, however during the period of the order being received to our physical store, the item may have changed to a status of 'out of stock' due to sales crossover from instore purchases. On these occasions one of our staff members will contact you and offer to order the product in (Australian suppliers only) and ship the order complete, when the ordered product has arrived. This may delay shipping by up to 4-5 days. We can also arrange to remove the product from the order and ship the balance of the goods to you. At all times we will keep you informed and will be guided by your instructions.
Unfortunately we do not offer freight free shipping of back orders.
