    Art Spectrum Gloss Varnish is a high gloss, non-yellowing acrylic varnish. Remove carefully with a small amount of methylated spirits on a lint-free cloth.  It is suitable for fully dried oil paintings (6-8 months depending on thickness of paint film) or acrylic paintings to even out the gloss of the paint and protect from dust and other contaminants.

    Our preferred logistics supplier is Australia Post. Occasionally the weight or dimensions of your parcel exceed the restrictions applied by Australia Post. Our preferred logistics provider then is Toll. Depending on the contents of the parcels varying surcharges may apply to the shipping applied to your order. For example Dangerous Goods classified products or products over 1.5 metres in length will incur a minimum surcharge of $60.

    Paper is a fragile product, and our goal is to ensure it arrives to you safely. Extra packing will be used to ship it safely and although we do not charge for this, there may be an increase in logistics charges.     Art Spectrum Damar Varnish is a traditional gloss finish varnish for oil and alkyd paintings. May be removed carefully with Art Spectrum Gum Turpentine.

    Art Spectrum Retouch Varnish is a temporary picture varnish for oil paintings. A thin coat restores luminosity to dull areas to aid colour matching. It can also be used as a sealer for painting grounds if the surface is too porous.

    Art Spectrum Matt Wax Varnish is a satin matt varnish, made from beeswax and natural resin. It can be rubbed and buffed to a sheen with a lint-free cloth. Use Gum Turpentine as a solvent. Varnish should only be used on fully dried paintings. Note: it may take a year or more for an oil painting to completely dry depending on thickness of paint.
