These annual greys are named Random Grey as they are truly that for each year. In accordance with sustainability concerns, Schmincke use the surplus pastel colour leftovers from the costly hand production process during the year to create a grey which is unique, depending on the proportions of colours which are combined. As pastels are made of almost 100% pigment the leftovers are perfect for reconstitution into this unique annual edition of Norma Professional oil colour. Created exclusively for Parkers this beautiful Iridescent Pearl is a warm, transparent and evocative tone that is full bodied from the tube however whispers creates subtle iterations to colours when applied thinly as a glaze. This is a beautifully gentle colour that influences colours like a whisper. Created exclusively for Parkers this beautiful Iridescent Gold is a warm, soft and lustrous tone that is full bodied from the tube however its semi-opaque qualities are evident when brushed or knifed out straight from the tube. The iridescent texture catches light like actual metal dust ground in oil, creating a metallic passage translucent enough to show previously painted layers. This is a beautifully versatile colour. This is a Limited Edition custom sized traditional handmade, wire bound mop brush created exclusively for Parkers Sydney Fine Art Supplies Centenary. It features extra soft synthetic fibres with an extraordinary elasticity and an extremely high colour absorbing capacity. Longer fibres provide more supple and responsive brushstrokes. Bound in a longer lasting plastic quill on a red lacquered handle. This brush is ideal for watercolour, gouache, ink and fluid acrylic painting.
