The thick reservoir of the belly is designed for maximum water holding, ensuring each brush lays down softly textured washes of watercolor or gouache. It is a versatile and flexible brush that is more affordable in larger sizes for wash and mop techniques. They are made according to certified green manufacturing with lacquered sustainable wood handles and rust resistant silver ferrules. Brushes are handmade in Germany at the da Vinci family owned factory since 1890.
Da Vinci Russian Blue Squirrel Brushes are significantly longer and larger than other brands, and are ideal for mop and wash techniques, for priming, and for area work. Many of the brush shapes in the line are made from pure Russian Blue Squirrel hair. Available in international sizes No. 1 to No. 30 without sizes 7, 9, 11 and 28.
Our preferred logistics supplier is Australia Post. Occasionally the weight or dimensions of your parcel exceed the restrictions applied by Australia Post. Our preferred logistics provider then is Toll. Depending on the contents of the parcels varying surcharges may apply to the shipping applied to your order. For example Dangerous Goods classified products or products over 1.5 metres in length will incur a minimum surcharge of $60.
Paper is a fragile product, and our goal is to ensure it arrives to you safely. Extra packing will be used to ship it safely and although we do not charge for this, there may be an increase in logistics charges. We recommend that you consider purchasing a minimum of 5 sheets or pack quantities to both save on purchase price and shipping charges.
