Dating back to 1264, Italy’s Fabriano Mill fine arts papers were used and praised by the likes of Michelangelo. Fabriano pioneered many processes common in paper making today, including the watermark and the technique of surface sheet gluing using gelatine. Today’s technologies allow for internal and external sizing to be done without animal by-products, where they were once needed to preserve the papers archivally. This produces a more consistent, non-yellowing, smell-free, and more resilient non-scuffing surface without blotchy spots, providing superior colour lifting. It is mould made, 100% cotton, chlorine and acid free (guaranteeing long conservation and inalterability over time) and features two deckled edges. Ideal for watercolour, tempera, gouache, acrylic, ink, charcoal, graphite and drawing. Also suitable for printmaking
Our preferred logistics supplier is Australia Post. Occasionally the weight or dimensions of your parcel exceed the restrictions applied by Australia Post. Our preferred logistics provider then is Toll. Depending on the contents of the parcels varying surcharges may apply to the shipping applied to your order. For example Dangerous Goods classified products or products over 1.5 metres in length will incur a minimum surcharge of $60.
Paper is a fragile product, and our goal is to ensure it arrives to you safely. Extra packing will be used to ship it safely and although we do not charge for this, there may be an increase in logistics charges. We recommend that you consider purchasing a minimum of 5 sheets or pack quantities to both save on purchase price and shipping charges.
We aim to make the shipping charge as cost effective as possible and to ensure you receive your art supplies in good condition. Please review our complete Shipping Policy information from the link in the footer for more details.
